How many times have you walked by someone and nonchalantly asked, “Hi, how are you”? “Just fine”, they reply. “You”?

We’ve become masters of disguise. Usually, not everything is “just fine”. I recently had the honor of photographing my long-time friend, Gigi.

She is an Etiquette Coach in Louisiana and recently came to Houston for a photoshoot. Gigi lost her husband to ALS in November and is a current breast cancer FIGHTER. 

You can not tell through the images what she has been through. She smiled and laughed through our photoshoot.

But the pain she has experienced is real, less than “just fine.”

I am inspired by women like Gigi. She dares to live life to the fullest, even when she would have every excuse to hide her light. 

Gigi embodies the mission of Chelsea Williams Photography. She is confident, strong, and beautiful.

I am humbled by our friendship.
