When I went to college I majored in photography and I minored in art history. I never wanted to draw a hand or paint a vase. Not interested at all. That is why I actually got my degree as a bachelors of science instead of a bachelors of art like most photography majors. That being said I have always had a very strong appreciation for art. When I was studying I went to Italy with the photography department and just enjoyed taking in all there art that wasn’t held in just a museum but out in courtyards for all to see.

A few years ago I took my daughter to the MET in New York and didn’t have enough time in the day to take it all in. Maybe it is because I love art and appreciate the masters that I see art in human form. My clients are truly beautiful. So when someone comes to me and says I want a portrait that makes me feel strong and shows off my body I listen with both ears.

Every one of my clients are different. What they want is different. I want to create a special piece of art for them that makes them feel like they are the true masterpiece they are.

When this client came to me she wanted portraits that showcase her body as art. As well as make her look and feel strong, powerful and confident. I am so thrilled with what we created together. I know 20 or 40 years from now she will still be looking at these images and be reminded of who she is.
