Have you ever wanted to be a fly on the wall to see what goes on in a photoshoot? Stacey came in for a custom branding session. Let me tell you a few things you don’t see. I went to Stacey’s home at least a week before the shoot so we could make a plan together for the style and concept of the shoot. That helped us both be on the same page. As well as help her feel comfortable with me before I point my camera at her. During the consultation we also went over wardrobe and what looks best on camera. She ended up bringing several outfits. ( Some clients show up with full suitcases) When it comes to wardrobe it is better to have more than you need than not enough.

Each client starts out in hair and makeup. Not only does this help make each person look just right for camera but this time actually helps calm nerves as well before we start shooting. In the end Stacey ended up in 6 different outfits. She did not choose each style when it came to picking out images but it gave her a very good variety to choose from. For Stacey it was important for her to control her own image and take ownership of how she felt about herself. I mean who could ever look at these images now and not feel that she is confident and strong.
