Sometimes when I tell potential clients that I work with a makeup artist on all my shoots it makes them nervous. Many times people tell me that they don’t think they need that because they don’t wear that much makeup. Even if you don’t wear that much makeup usually for a photoshoot you need just a little more than normal to look correct on camera.

Once clients get in the door sometimes they start out by telling my makeup artist that they want a very natural look. Once done they realize that they wanted a lot more. That is one good thing about what I do. We work slow enough that if you want to change something you can. However, I wanted to create a visual of what No makeup to full glam makeup looks like so my clients and potential clients can get an idea.

Maybe this will help you see that even when you want to look like you don’t wear makeup. It can still be beneficial to put on a little for camera just to even out the skin.

This is where it comes down to your comfort level. You get to choose! Do you want to look natural or do you want to pop? Do you want popping eyes but natural lips? That is all up to you. Me personally I love enhancing my eyes to make them shine! Bellow is the final look. I did add some lip gloss before this one because I love my gloss.
