She first received her Bachelor’s Degree in Photography from Sam Houston State University, laying a strong foundation for her artistic and technical skills. However, being the ambitious woman she is, Chelsea didn't stop there. She dedicated over a decade to advancing her expertise, attending professional classes, workshops and continuing education programs to remain at the forefront of industry trends and techniques. Time for a little hard-hitting flashback, from yours truly: I, like so many other women, struggled silently with body image, thinking it was normal to constantly criticize my looks. This ultimately took a toll on how I viewed my worthiness as a woman because the respect I had for myself was dependent on what people said about me.
When I started my career as a professional photographer, I visibly saw through talk and through poses, these exact thoughts I struggled with for so many years echoed in my own clients.
But what I saw in my clients was vastly different from how they viewed themselves in the mirror: I saw the honest, rare beauty in every single woman. It was then that everything clicked.
I immediately shifted my approach to photography and decided to make it my priority to help women discover their true self-worth — through the lens, yes, but beyond it as well.
The entire Luxury Photo Experience — from the pre-photoshoot consultations to photoshoot day to the printing process — is meant to serve as a reminder to every woman at any size, age, shape, or color that beauty doesn’t discriminate.
Because beauty goes beyond physical appearance — it’s a trait that shines outwards from within.
